About the authors:
M.W. “Mike” Reade has investigated traffic crashes for over 40 years. This book is his first for IPTM. Additionally, he helped co-develop IPTM’s Advanced Pedestrian/Bicycle Crash Investigation course.
Mike continues to work as an expert in both civil and criminal motor vehicle cases. He continues his research in the area of pedestrian/cyclist crashes during controlled testing sessions. He has over 25 years of law enforcement experience as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
T.L. “Tony” Becker has investigated traffic crashes for over 35 years. He helped co-develop IPTM’s Advanced Pedestrian/Bicycle Crash Investigation course. He has published 3 other books for IPTM in the field of crash investigation and/or reconstruction.
Tony conducts work as an expert in both civil and criminal motor vehicle crashes and continues his research in the area of pedestrian/cyclist crash investigation. He has over 35 years of public law enforcement experience serving in the US Army, Bloomington (IL) Police Department, Henry County (IL) Sheriff’s Department, McLean County (IL) Coroner’s Office, and the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
